Walk: JEWISH (AND OTHER) POETS| Rafał Dajbor

Julian Tuwim, Anatol Stern, Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, Jan Brzechwa, Jerzy Ficowski, Jonasz Kofta, Ryszard Marek Groński… Polish poets. What kind of things they had in common and what divided them? Who was a friend and who was an adversary? How important did they find “the Jewish issues”? Was anyone… antisemitic? We will learn about all those things during our walk around the Military Cemetery in Powązki when visiting their graves.

Rafał Dajbor actor, journalist, chairman of his Drugi Plan Foundation. He is the author and editor of the website mariuszgorczynski.pl and the book: “Just like Bareja, who said it?” (published by Krytyka Polityczna, 2019). He writes for “Stolica,” “The Jewish Word” and E-teatr.pl.

Meeting point: In front of the Funeral House (behind the Military Cemetery Gate at 43/45 Powązkowska St.), duration: ca. 2 hrs.
