Poetry concert: “Oddzielić wczoraj od dziś – nie być od być” | Katarzyna Post & Grzegorz Kaźmierski
Installation for an actress and a musician – Katarzyna Post (voice), Grzegorz Kaźmierski (guitars and effects). A collage of musical pictures and ambient sounds created here and now – with selected texts of Jewish poets (mainly female). When connected, the matters result in a nostalgic, personal, profound journey through all the shades of human emotions.
Katarzyna Post – theater and movie actress, director, and drama teacher. Graduate of Jewish Theater’s Actor’s Studio in Warsaw, she has been cooperating with the theater for eighteen years. Has participated in theatrical projects and small forms including the annual “Holocaust Victims Remembrance Days” in Łódź, Singer’s Warsaw Festival, cultural activities of the Poland-Finland Association, and Warsaw’s Jazdów district. Co-founder of the theatrical group Grupa Zaplecze and (Od)Nowa Theater, author of multiple performances and reading cycles. | |
Grzegorz Kaźmierski – guitarist, sound engineer, animator of culture, theatrologist, and film expert. Specializes in interdisciplinary cultural projects in the Provincial Center of Culture Animation in Toruń. Graduate of theater studies and film studies at UKW in Bydgoszcz and film studies and culture animation at UMK in Toruń. Founder of an improv music and poetry project 3.Piętro, co-founder of Mlecze. In 2019, released his solo album Improv. Coordinator of cultural projects shown at Toruń Art and Science Festival. Author of music videos and film miniatures. |
