Remember about the dramatic events of March’68
-
Every year, to commemorate the March’68 events, people for whom the memory of the dramatic events of the March is still vivid, meet at the plaque on the Gdański Train Station’s station’s building – the place where, in Warsaw, Polish Jews left.
Due the turbulence caused by the coronavirus pandemic this year celebrating will not be held. But we still remember about thousands of students demonstrating, pupils protesting, brutal beatings and mass arrests across the whole country. About intellectuals persecuted, people with Jewish origins attacked. About empty universities, lost dreams, numerous farewells and one-way tickets.
This was the dramatic events of March’68, so please remember about it and have a faith that events like those will never return.
