Bieta Ficowska – activist, teacher and author books and songs. She was the head of the Children of Holocaust Association. She was also the wife of Jerzy Ficowski, a poet, translator, writer, songwriter who discovered Papusza but primarily, the leading researcher of the life and work of Brunon Schulz.
