The audience will be offered the opportunity to see the shows that premiered last season, such as \u201cYentl\u201d with live music, much appreciated by reviewers and rewarded with standing ovations by the audience. The phenomenal \u201cMadagascar\u201d awarded for best text written by Magdalena Drab. The show was made in cooperation with Papahema Theater. Madagascar in this show directed by Gosia D\u0119bska is an imagined afterworld for those with whom we don&#8217;t know what to do. It is a space of exile for souls of unknown origin, convoluted past, or suspicious features. This is where we meet Stanislaw Lem, Helena Rubinstein, Julian Tuwim, Helena Deutsch, Samuel Goldwyn, Ludwik Zamenhof. They are watched over by a Jewish foremother. The story of a Yentl girl who became a yeshiva student named Anszel is a poignant description of the struggle for human freedom. \u201cI wanted to be free, now I have what I want\u201d, sings Yentl in Robert Talarczyk&#8217;s stage show. It was hailed by both Jewish and Polish critics as a success for Jewish theater in Poland. <em>\u201cThe Tempest in Yiddish returned to Polish stages after several decades. Before the premiere, there were questions about how this play would be received in today&#8217;s Poland. One thing must be said: it resonated very strongly. The story of the Holocaust becomes a story about the potential consequences of modern discrimination. The director shows a dark, threatening and dangerous vision of the future on stage. There will be about fifty actors from the Jewish Theater, theater school students, and children<\/em>\u201d, said Go\u0142da Tencer, director of the performance, on Polish Radio 24.&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;<em>Warsaw Ghetto kept living. &#8211;&nbsp;Warsaw Ghetto kept dancing.
