This is how Aldona Machnowska-G\u00f3ra, Managing Coordinator of Cultural Affairs and Social Communication, Head of the Working Team for the Best Overall Performance GRAND S3KTOR 2019 Award explained during the gala why this important prize was awarded to us: \u201cRecognizing the Foundation\u2019s credit and contribution in the historic and cultural education of Warsaw\u2019s citizens, in the development of Polish-Jewish relations in the interest of the rule of law and equality before the law as well as respect for cultural and national dignity and diversity of Polish citizens across the globe, this special award is given to the Shalom Foundation\u201d. The prize was awarded based on the motion submitted by Warsaw\u2019s Council of Charitable Activities.<\/p>\n
\u201eFor the past thirty years, the Shalom Foundation has been engaged to focus on the memory, restoring Warsaw\u2019s multicultural identity. Organized for the 17th<\/sup> time this year, Singer\u2019s Warsaw Festival is a well-recognized brand, it has become the biggest Jewish culture festival in Poland. I am truly touched and proud.
