The series “Jewish writers’ reading room” presents the excerpts of Itzik Manger’s “The Book of Paradise”
Grzegorz Małecki – excellent stage, film and TV actor. Graduate of class 2000 of the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. The same year, he started to perform in the National Theatre. He played in many stage shows directed by, among others, Jerzy Grzegorzewski, Jerzy Jarocki, Jan Englert, Piotr Cieplak, Maciej Prus and Eimuntas Nekrošius. Guest appearances in Teatr Polonia, OCH-Teatr and Teatr WARSawy. His movie roles include “Wtorek,” “Wałęsa. Człowiek z nadziei,” “Panie Dulskie,” “Kurier,” TV shows and TV theatre. He is the winner of various awards, such as Feliks Warszawski for his role as Edek in “Tango” by Sławomir Mrożek, directed by Jerzy Jarocki. In 2018, he debuted as a theatre director, with a stage show entitled “Tchnienie” and produced by the National Theatre, Studio Stage.
