This meeting is part of the series “Tell me your story” hosted by Jan Ordyński

Daniel Passent – Polish journalist, author of a column in Polityka weekly, translator, satirist and author of many books, economist. He told about his bountiful life several years ago in the book “Passa” (Daniel Passent, Jan Ordyński). The walk starts with a shocking description of his childhood: a Jewish child kept during the war in the “closet” by a Polish family. After the war, Passent’s luck takes off. Great education, living large, interesting meetings, falling in love with Agnieszka Osiecka. He tells about it with humor and bravado. The book is full of funny stories about Passent’s co-workers, friends, people he met. And there were so many of them: great politicians, writers, artists, sportsmen.
