Lecture: THE DYBBUK INSPIRED | Monika Krajewska

While presenting her illustrated story, Monika Krajewska will tell us how she combined an image with texts in Yiddish and Hebrew in her works – collages and cut-outs that are her artistic commentary on the drama of the Jewish writer and folklore researcher,  S. Ansky, entitled “The Dybbuk. On the verge of two worlds.” She will also touch upon the cultural background of the drama which, after hundred years of its premiere, have not stopped to be interpreted and reinterpreted.
